A top dressing consists of a mix of materials such as sand and soil which should be made to closely match the composition of the existing soil, as all of the new materials will eventually form part of the root zone (soil where roots grow best) and will therefore need to blend well.
A Heat treated top dressing screened to 3mm.
Our mix is a 70/30 split consiting of 70% Sand and 30% Soil.
